The ASIA member survey asked for salary data for October 2024. The survey was answered by 1,344 members. Clearly, the most common reason for the raise was a general increase, which was said to have been received by 70 percent of the respondents whose salary had risen. One-fifth of the respondents had received a salary increase based on personal performance, i.e. a so-called merit increase.

The average earnings of the members have risen by more than 800 euros per month in ten years. Especially since 2018, wages have risen faster, but the growth rate has levelled off over the past three years. The fact that the average wage has risen more than the median wage last year indicates that the dispersion of high wages has increased, but has still not raised the median wage as much.
The median salary of the ASIA members was EUR 5,181 per month in October 2024. A quarter of respondents earn less than €4,318 per month, while the highest quarter earns more than €6,200 per month. This can be compared to the median wage in the whole country, which, according to Statistics Finland, was EUR 3,223 in October 2024. The median salary for the whole country is thus one thousand euros lower than the threshold of the lowest quartile in the membership of ASIA.
The ASIA member survey was carried out in November 2024. The results were published in the ASIA member magazine 1/2025.
